Stretched along a major thoroughfare and nestled into a growing portion of Bismarck, DK Ortho was designed to celebrate its brand, create a world-class patient experience and give refuge to staff during a full day of patient care. Materials and window composition were designed to accommodate a highly varied use of space and need for natural light. Also, given that the building is on a major intersection, the building can be seen from all sides and every façade is a reflection of its relationship to site and interior needs. As a result of this thoughtful design, the building allows for pockets of private spaces for staff, great views for patients, and clear branding/access for the public. Efficiency and workflow are the name of the game when it comes to orthodontic care. A quick ‘in and out’ paired with a ‘clean’ environment are a requirement for orthodontic success and DK Ortho’s design provides just that.
